A VPN solution for users who are looking to bypass censorship and geo-blocking, offering a free plan with a serviceable speed for all to enjoy. #VPN Connection #Virtual Private Network #Secure Browsing #VPN #Network #Secure
Secure browsing becomes more of a need with each passing day, as tracking from your ISP, censorship, and geo-blocking are becoming increasingly more common and frustrating to deal with. VPN programs have cemented themselves as reliable solutions to these problems.
Many people are after such software, and there's hardly anything particularly wrong with free VPN alternatives, despite there always being a catch, either involving some form of tracking, lower speeds, and so on. Geph is a VPN that was purposely built to help users bypass internet censorship by routing their traffic via a different location. The program features a free plan that is actually usable, too, so anyone can try it out for themselves.
It's understandable why one would choose to use a VPN service to route their traffic. Geo-blocking can be especially frustrating to deal with, and censorship itself is more often than not a slippery slope. To help combat those issues, this program offers users an easy and intuitive way to connect to a server from another country, or even continent: it will suggest the closest, and thus most responsive one initially, but you're free to change your location to any supported server.
Though the selection of servers for the Free version can be quite limited: with the Netherlands, Canada, US, Poland, and France being the available options, it's still serviceable. Routing your traffic to a server from one of those countries should steer you clear from geo-blocking and censorship, as it's minimal to non-existent therein.
Users are able to modify some network settings before connecting. You can choose to exclude Chinese traffic, as well as enable the proxy autoconfigure option. Network-level VPN, which routes your entire traffic via the program, is also available.
You won't really be able to stream 4K, high bitrate content while on the Free plan, but it should get you by otherwise. Light browsing should work just fine, and you shouldn't have any problem with streaming lower resolution content.
Overall, Geph can work to help users maintain online anonymity, evade censorship, and enjoy a freer web, and Free tier should be enough to get users started.
