FoxPro Tables To PostgreSQL Converter Software was designed as an application that allows Microsoft FoxPro users to convert their tables to a PostgreSQL database environment. Requiring no programming knowledge, the app relies only on inputting the database login credentials for it to function.

Transferring the FoxPro tables to the PostgreSQL database requires users to add the folder which contains the DBF files or manually input a DBC file. Manually adding the DBC file can be done using the dedicated advanced feature, which allows one to browse to the file location. Testing the connection to the loaded data is provided through a dedicated feature, in order to ensure that the transfer process is operational.

Accessing the PostgreSQL database is done by providing the server credentials, such as the username, password and corresponding database name and port. Again, the connection to the database can be tested prior to initializing the transfer process.

Several other prominent features will allow users to enable a SQL preview for the running commands or errors, which can be set to be displayed for each file or each table individually.

Last but not least, a dedicated graphical status bar notifies users of the conversion process, allowing them to know the progress of the transfer at any given time.
