ODBC Driver for ASE

ODBC Driver for ASE is a software utility that provides a connectivity solution indented to allow ODBC-based applications to access ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise) databases.

It offers support for the standard ODBC API functions and aims to make it very simple for database applications to interact with Adaptive Server Enterprise.

The driver allows you to create SSL-encrypted connections to ASE databases directly via TCP/IP, this avoiding having to use other ASE client software. Moreover, the connection is fully configurable, as numerous settings can be customized.

ODBC Driver for ASE is compatible with SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise 16.0 and higher, as well as Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise 12.0 and higher. Moreover, multiple third-party data tools are supported, including Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Office, Crystal Reports, PHP and Python.

When using this driver, it is possible to perform bulk updates to the  Adaptive Server Enterprise database by combining multiple SQL statements into batches, thus saving valuable time and simplifying the whole operation.

The driver offers support for ODBC API functions and ODBC data types, as well as Advanced Connection String parameters. Because of this, any desktop or web application can connect to the database from various platforms.
