Oracle Forms and Reports

Working with Oracle Databases is a complex process that requires many people with different skills, but also many digital tools. Thankfully, the corporate IT giant already provides many of these solutions. You can find most of them under the name of Oracle Fusion Middleware, a suite of several programs meant to assist you with development, integration, and content management among others.

One of these tools is called Oracle Forms and Reports. It can be viewed as a tool with two distinct functions, both of which are closely connected to the Oracle database. Oracle Forms is a piece of software that you can use to create applications that allow you and others to interact with a database. On the other hand, Oracle Reports is a tool that can be used to generate reports based on the data stored in an Oracle database.

In order to install these tools, you must first get the Oracle Download Manager. You should then proceed to install Oracle Forms and Reports through the Oracle Universal Installer which will guide you through every step of the process. You can then access Oracle Forms and Reports through an application called Oracle Form Builder that you will find in your Windows Start Menu.
