In the eventuality that you are managing a large database that contains thousands of records and you need to edit some of the text fragments, then you should know that there are solutions out there to help you complete this task without too much hassle. OrgPilot is an application designed to help you quickly find and replace text strings in databases in SQLite format.

The setup is quick, forthright and does not require any you to make any further configuration. Upon launch, you are welcomed by a minimalistic and well-structured interface that comprises of two main sections, namely the Search and Editing Phrases.

As you probably hinted, the Search table displays the list of the phrases that are contained in the database, whereas the Editing table includes the fragment selected with the formatting you selected for it. On a side note, you should know that the app enables you to rearrange the panels horizontally or vertically.

The idea behind the program is to allow you find and edit phrases that are stored in the database using basic formatting functions (Italic, Underline and Bold) or changing the color. Moreover, the utility allows you to use phrase rating, tags or add comments for each phrase. You can also append, delete, copy or paste the text fragments to clipboard so that you can use them with other text editors.

In the eventuality that you decided to create a database to store fragment strings that you regularly use in templates, documents, letters or invoices issued by your company, then it is recommended that you make regular backups. You can create backups easily by accessing the Export function from the File menu.

OrgPilot is a small, but powerful application that enables you to retrieve occurrences of text fragments in a database to replace or edit them. Alternatively, you can employ the app to create a database dedicated to storing text or templates for letters, templates or documents.
