Hub software for the Advanced Direct Connect network that can be installed as a background service or run as a console application. #ADC server #ADC hub #ADC Network #Server #Hub #ADC
ADCH++ is a hub server program for the ADC network designed to implement the ADC protocol. It features a basic core design that can be extended using plug-ins.
One of the standard supported plug-ins can be mentioned is one that enables hub owners to customize the hub using the Lua scripting language. The software can be used within a Python or Ruby application due to the fact that the core is exposed as a Python and Ruby module.
When installing the software, you have a choice of whether or not to install ADCH++ as a service. If it is installed as a service, the program will run in the background without cluttering your desktop or the Taskbar.
However, if you choose not to ADCH++ as a service, the Command Prompt window will need to remain on your desktop at all times, or be minimized to the Taskbar; this can be very helpful if you want to ensure the hub is up and running, and it also makes it easier to shut it down.
While the hub is running, you can keep an eye on it from the command-line window, and you can close it at any time using the Ctrl+C key combination.
