The advent of the Secure Reliable Transport protocol (SRT), meant that users could benefit from having the ability to stream and broadcast live, quality video content on the Internet, with low latency, all within an open-source context. The main working principle behind SRT is a packet transmission mechanism called Automatic Repeat reQuest (ARQ), which is stacked on top of a UDP data flow, for packet loss protection and bandwidth fluctuations that might occur, and in order to preserve the underlying quality.

Happytime SRT Pusher is an application that was designed specifically in order to provide users with a dedicated solution for pushing local media files, audio and video devices, live screens, application windows, as well as a multitude of stream formats.

The application supports RTSP, RTMP, SRT, or HTTP MJEP streams, as well as multiple pushers simultaneously and cross-compilation.

Concerning network and potential issues, the application can recover content from packet loss and jitter, in order to maintain the integrity of the video stream data. This error correction is fully user-configurable and it can accommodate the specific deployment conditions.

Last but not least, the application is portable, meaning that users will not have to run any installation process and will be able to take it on their preferred removable devices.
