The application doesn't take long to install, but you will need to take the time to configure the server and to allow it to connect to multiple cameras. It sports a really intuitive graphical interface with plenty of tools at hand.

The trial version lasts for 30 days, during which you can check out the program's features but when the period ends you will need to upgrade to the premium version if you want to continue using it.

The first thing that you need to do after launching the application is to provide it with the server name and enable the feature that automatically launches the application when Windows starts. It connects to cameras and detects the license plates of cars in traffic.

It displays a list on the bottom of the screen, together with a time stamp. Access to the application is restricted by a username and password. You can adjust the position of cameras and change the maximum count of license plates.

There's the option to add how many cameras you want and to configure them easily. You can pick from multiple camera types like video files, analog and more.

Host name, port, user name and password information will have to be provided in order to configure the server and the application displays the CPU usage in a corner of the screen.

Even if you minimize the application to the system tray, it will continue to read license plates and log them in the history file. DTK LPR Solution is a very nice software solution for detecting license plates and issuing reports.
