If your company often engages in collaborations with other associations, it's highly probable that you've heard the word "conference" more than once. However, there are a few aspects you have to take care of if the conference is a long-distance one.

TekConSer is one of the applications that can help you host a conference server on your computer without significant efforts.

This application is a SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) conference server that is based on RFC 3261 and can be setup on a broad range of computers without considerable efforts.

The main window consists of a bunch of panes; one of them displays a list of active calls, one lets you invite participants or hang up, and another is a log that records events and displays their corresponding times.

If you consider the default configuration to be unsatisfactory, you can navigate to the "Settings" tab, where you can adjust some settings related to the server, SIP accounts, HTTP server, and counters.

For instance, you can set a waiting message, choose a listen port, use an external address, enable notifications, start minimized, manage SIP accounts, enable an HTTP server as well as reset, copy or refresh the counters.

TekConSer also packs an application log where you can view various events that occurred since you launched the server so that you can troubleshoot and keep track of relevant details with ease.

You can see the date and time of each event, as well as their type and messages. Logs that are recorded in this pane cannot be saved to your computer but can be refreshed, set to auto-refresh and cleared altogether.
