LightProxy

LightProxy is an open-source, cross-platform web debugging proxy (available for Windows and macOS) that aims to relieve some of the complexities behind web development.

Based on Whistle, this local proxy packet capture app is developed to serve as a unique alternative to other more popular software such as Charles and Fiddler.

That said, LightProxy can help for a wide range of web development applications such as packet capture (including wireless scene capture), real-time hosts binding, resource forwarding (based on rules, mock interface and page, and so forth), as well as modify the content of request and response.

Working with LightProxy is quite straightforward: just download the app's installer, run it, and open the app. Click the button on the upper-left side of its GUI to create a new rule, and use the "/" command to enter rules easily.

The app can also help you replace an online script (useful for tweaking the contents of a website), mock everything from documents and response headers, as well as capture the network information in mobile apps. Last but not least, it's worth noting that LightProxy can also be used for mobile development.
