Reversee

Available as a cross-platform application for Windows, Linux and Mac systems, Reversee takes a different approach for site traffic monitoring when comparing it to HTTP proxy: reverse proxy.

It's designed for developers interested in straightforward and intuitive utilities to help them with their work. Made with the Electron framework, the program is wrapped in a simple interface that provides direct access to traffic monitoring tools.

Reversee facilitates real-time data interception in JavaScript, giving you the possibility to quickly establish an HTTP or HTTPS connection by just indicating the port to listen to, along with the destination host.

While viewing site traffic in real time, you can filter data to intercept requests and responses. The request body and headers can be seen on the bottom side of the window.

What's more, the software program supports breakpoints, which means that it's possible to pause a request any time in order to modify its content, then proceed with the monitor after applying the new settings. The get, post, put, patch and delete methods are supported (any combination can be set).

You can add as many breakpoints as you want by only specifying the methods and path. The host and redirects get rewritten by default but these options can be disabled. In addition to using developer tools, you can zoom in and out, switch to fullscreen mode, and reset the cache.

The software program worked without errors on the newest Windows edition in our tests, remaining light on system resources consumption. We haven't experienced any issues.

Taking everything into account, Reversee proposes a streamlined solution for keeping track of site traffic thanks to reverse proxy. It's free and easy to use by any developer who doesn't want to concern himself with complicated features.
