SharePoint Password Reset

SharePoint Password Reset was created to allow common users to quickly and easily reset their password right on a web part without the need of a SharePoint administrator's intervention. The newly created password will be sent online or via E-mail.

The app is part of the Virto SharePoint Password Management tools that also include SharePoint Password Expiration and Change SharePoint Password web parts. ​ This simple and accessible app will let you reset your password straight from the web page so you will no longer have to rely on the IT department or Administrators.

SharePoint Password Reset provides you with customized security questions which they may set to further enhance the security of their password.

There are two ways your password can be delivered: either you can see it on the site, or receive it via E-mail. In the first scenario, you'll have to answer some security questions created by the Administrator with values taken from various fields of AD profile, such as date of birth, mobile phone, etc.

f you receive the password by E-mail, all you have to do is enter your login and E-mail address and you're done.
