PHP SSL MiniServer

Based on Uniform Server, PHP SSL MiniServer is a light package that facilitates simple tools for letting you create PHP servers. It does not require installation, which means that it can be run on any PC you have access to, directly from a pen drive.

You can extract the program files to any part of the hard disk and just click the executable to run. However, the most important aspect about it is that, unlike most installers, it does not add new entries to the Windows registry or Start menu, thus leaving no traces are behind after its removal.

The GUI is based on a small window with a plain and simple structure. The PHP server automatically starts at program launch, and you can stop it at any time with the click of a button.

What's more, PHP SSL MiniServer lets you alter Stunnel settings in regard to the PHP server port and external port, along with SMTP client server and external port. These may be tested before applying the new changes, and you can also create a new SSL certificate.

You can edit the PHP configuration, production and development files, select a web page to view in the default browser, specify the root folder and router file, hide the server command window, and more. These parameters can be restored to default.

There were no stability issues in our testing, since the app did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. It had minimal impact on CPU and RAM, so it shouldn't put a strain on computer performance.

Although it does not implement rich features and customization preferences, PHP SSL MiniServer proves to be a reliable tool for running PHP servers, with its main advantage being the fact that it does not need installation.
