SMS Application

SMS Application is a tiny software tool whose purpose is to aid people in sending one or multiple SMSs from their computer, through a connected mobile phone.

The installation process does not last very long and does not bring any kind of unpleasant surprises, while the GUI you come face to face with presents a pretty simple and well-organized design. It is comprised of a few tabs which enable you to easily access all the options available.

It becomes quite clear that both beginners and highly experienced people can learn how to work with it without experiencing any kind of issues.

The program is going to automatically detect all the mobile phones connected to your computer, and it is going to display them in a list, along with information such as COM port, maximum baud rate, time out, phone model and name, serial number and status.

In addition to that, you can easily add names and phone numbers from several contacts, and save them to a Microsoft Access database. Messages can have a maximum of 160 characters, and you can send one or multiple SMSs, by manually writing them or uploading them from XLSX files. No other notable options are supported.

In conclusion, SMS Application is a pretty handy piece of software when it comes to sending text messages to multiple people in the same time from your PC. The interface is intuitive, yet not very easy on the eyes, the response time is good and it does not put a strain on the computer’s performance, as the CPU and memory is low at all times.
