Code writing is still behind the well functioning of applications and web pages. Different programming languages are available for use, while some don’t necessarily require advanced editors. For instance, Figerty Editor come as a slim environment to process all your HTML source code, preview, and export with all changes.

Note that your computer needs to be equipped with .NET Framework for the program to function. It’s a good idea to perform this check, even though modern Windows iterations come with it in the default set of features.

Most of the main window space is where all editing happens. There’s some sample text by default, but most requirement means solid HTML knowledge. However, the workspace is plain, with no helpful info fields, no even line numbering on the side, which gets a little frustrating, or any built-in character or word counter.

The most impact on practicality is delivered by the lack of a syntax highlighter, which makes strings difficult to identify. Font can’t be edited either, and you only get to process plain text. Edit operations merely consist of basic copy, cut, paste, and undo, selection of all text, and clearing the entire edit area.

Preview is provided in a dedicated window which shows up at the press of a button. You can work on existing HTML files, while output also generate this type. You can only work on one project at a time, because it’s not possible to have multiple instances active at a time, and tabs are not implemented.

Bottom line is that Figerty Editor is a straightforward application which can come in handy, but only for basic HTML editing tasks. It lacks the majority of features required to easily identify functions and snippets, or at least view number of lines, or characters. Edit options are poor, while file support is strictly limited to HTML type.
