Start writing your HTML code or work on existing project in a comfortable environment also fitted with a preview tab, thanks to this practical, portable application #Htm page editor #Edit Htm page #Htm page creator #Htm page #Editor #Edit
Everything started out on a computer from some lines of code, and it doesn’t take complex programs to simply define functions and write them. For instance, even Notepad can be used to build your projects, but there are specialized applications like HtmPad, which make it easier to store them, and identify specific functions.
On the bright side of things, the applications skips you the time and effort of pressing a few Next buttons to get it up and running. You can launch it right after download is complete, and even carry it around on a USB flash drive to work on your projects from other computers, without worrying that the target PC gets affected, because registries remain intact.
The visual design keeps things pretty simple, allowing you to accommodate from the first few seconds of use. Most of the space represents the edit pad, with a separate tab to get a real time preview of your works so far, given everything is in order. General file operations can easily be accessed from the upper toolbar.
As the name might suggest, the application is specialized on editing and working with HTML, and HTM files, which are the only formats you can load and save to. Drag and drop is not supported, so you need to rely on the browse dialog for these operations.
Unfortunately, the canvas itself is a little rough around the edges, and some degree of attentions is required on your behalf for everything to work out as planned. This is because of the lack of basic, yet really helpful elements, such as line numbering, not to mention syntax highlighting. Words or at least characters aren’t displayed, and if you want to jump to a specific line, you need to manually do so, since there’s no search function.
Taking everything into consideration, we can say that HtmPad comes with good intentions, combining both a place to write HTML code, and a preview area for close inspection. However, it comes rather unprepared, making it difficult to keep track of your work, or identify lines of code, because of the lack of various display features.
