If you're looking to create an image gallery in Flash that you can publish to your website and show to the world, you can turn to SlideshowZilla. It's an easy-to-use Windows tool that provides you with several templates and transition to significantly speed up your task.

Before proceeding any further, you should know that the program hasn't received updates for a long time and we're not sure if it's still in development. However, our tests have shown that it works on Windows 10, although it lagged.

The main application window has three tabs for photo, theme and publishing operations, so SlideshowZilla takes you through all phases of putting together a Flash slideshow.

You can get started by tracking down the photos you want to include in task. Supported filetypes include JPG, BMP, PNG, TIFF, PCX and GIF. Blank images can be inserted too as well as rotated.

In the following step, you can choose from various transitions provided by the application, edit project information by setting a title, URL, description, transition and show duration, as well as add text or art clip. During all this time, you can check out a filmstrip with each frame (image) on the bottom side.

Next, you can select a slideshow theme and edit properties such as HTML title, loading style, star autoplay, background color and alpha, or padding. The slideshow can be previewed in a built-in player.

Once everything is ready, you can proceed with the publishing step: create Flash files only, make CD or DVD presentations, or create Flash files and upload them to a file hosting website.

Taking everything into account, SlideshowZilla has a surprisingly up-to-date set of features dedicated to creating Flash slideshows, although it hasn't received updates for a long time. It can be easily used.
