Portable Webcam

Portable Webcam is a forthright application whose purpose is to stream webcam images in real-time, while also providing options for taking frame screenshots and saving them to your computer.

Delivered inside a lightweight package, Portable Webcam has the advantage of portability, which means that it can be launched directly from a removable drive. It does not leave any fingerprints on the system's registry.

With ease of use as its main characteristic, this application automatically establishes a connection with the webcam your computer is equipped with, displaying real-time images within its main GUI. Unfortunately, the window is not resizable, so you cannot change its dimensions.

There are no options to deal with and no menus whatsoever, just a plain window that encases the video stream, accompanied by two buttons. One of them is to access the 'Help' section, while the other enables you to take a frame snapshot from your webcam.

Pressing it opens a new dialog where you can browse to the location where you want the application to save the captured image. Only the JPG format is supported.
