Bingo! DVD Audio Ripper(DVD to MP3-wave)

Bingo! DVD Audio Ripper is a program with a self-explanatory title - it allows you rip the audio stream of a DVD. But you can also convert it to the MP3 or WAV extension.

The interface of the application is plain and simple to work with. You can load a DVD or open an IFO file by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported.

In the list you can check out the name, duration and number of chapters of the DVD. Once you specify the destination folder and output format, you can initiate the conversion task.

But you can also preview the DVD in a small, built-in media player, select the index, audio, subtitle and angle, as well as pick the zoom mode and splitting method.

In the "Preferences" area you can configure DVD options when it comes to the audio (e.g. sample frequency rate), video (e.g. deinterlace filter, audio and video synchronization), subtitle, output location and luminance filter, as well as enable the program to enable audio while playing. Settings can be restored to their default values at any time.

The audio conversion tool requires a moderate amount of system resources, includes a comprehensive help file with snapshots or novices, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a very good sound quality in the output audio tracks. We haven't come across any issues during our tests, since Bingo! DVD Audio Ripper did not freeze or crash.

On the other hand, the interface needs some major improvements, since it's outdated. Also, the "Preferences" area is a little cluttered. We recommend Bingo! DVD Audio Ripper with reservations.
