Recode Converter

Most multimedia files offer you the possibility to convert your full videos to other formats in one go. Recode Converter goes one step further and allows you to convert the audio tracks found in your video files.

Before you get to access the main window of Recode Converter, you need to make sure FFMPEG is installed on your computer, or just copy the DLLs in question to the Resources folder.

Once you completed this step, you can access the main window of the app and start processing the audio streams in your chosen videos.

You can add one or several files using drag and drop operations, or you can manually select them from their respective folders. There are numerous formats supported by Recode Converter, such as OGM, WMV, MPG, WebM, OGV, MOV, ASV, MPEG, MP4, M4V, AVI and MKV.

For each added file, you can analyze its composition - you can get an overview of the included audio tracks, along with details like codec, type and language. You can also examine the properties for each stream, then select the one you want to keep or the one you want to discard.

Once you settled on the source list, you can proceed to creating the conversion configuration that best suits your needs.

You can choose to skip re-encoding and just preserve the audio track, you can remove it altogether or you can convert it to AAC, AC3 or EAC3. If you want to start conversion, you can specify the bitrate, sample rate and channels.

Recode Converter can help you convert, modify or remove audio streams from your videos, even if you are not a highly experienced user. Its intuitive GUI simplifies this process as much as possible.
