It comes with customizable correction features, as well as keystroke or mouse editing. It even has bookmarks and quick selection features. You can correct noise in waveforms, mainly ones that have been converted from old vinyl records and tapes.

The files are stored in wave files (.wav extension). These files have several standards that affect the music. It works with the CD quality (16 bit) stereo versions of the file.

If you open a non compatible wave file, then AAAwave will display the properties of that file and not let you edit it. The program comes with many useful tools, including the option to adjust the sample size and set the maximum volume. You can adjust the fizz fix, crackle and pop fixes if you want.
