As its name implies, Audiobook Cutter Free is a program designed to help you easily trim audiobooks. But you can actually cut any type of audio tracks with the MP3 format.

The interface of the application is plain and simple to navigate through. Audio tracks can be imported into the list by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method. Batch processing is allowed.

Once you adjust the track length, you can specify the output destination and initiate the trimming task. You can move tracks up and down in the list, remove an entry from the queue or clear the entire thing.

The simple-to-use program requires a moderate amount of system resources, quickly finishes a task and manages to preserve the original sound quality of the MP3 tracks. No errors have occurred during our tests, since Audiobook Cutter Free did not freeze or crash. There's also a well-written help file at your disposal.

On the other hand, Audiobook Cutter Free doesn't provide you with additional splitting methods, besides cutting all files in the list into equal-timed parts (e.g. by marking the start and end position, into equal-sized pieces).
