While it’s true that your microphone’s quality ultimately dictates the sound your recordings, it’s always good to have options to configure its output to achieve the desired effect. Dedicated sound recording tools can be of use in this case.

Kingshiper Voice Recorder seeks to make it easy for users to record themselves, while additionally facilitating access to a series of configurations for a more convenient recording experience. Aside from that, users can also take advantage of the microphone pitch changer, as well as the Task Scheduler if they have a license.

If you’re unhappy with the default options for recording your voice, then perhaps this solution can help. There’s little to explain in terms of using the software, as the interface design eases users into attuning with the program’s functionalities.

You can start recording via the Ctrl+F2 shortcut, but before doing so, it’s never a bad idea to look through your configurations. Settings like Sample Rate, Audio Quality and Output Format can play a role in determining the quality of the final recording, though thankfully the default choices should nevertheless work well enough for most.

Note that you can change your microphone’s pitch to alter your voice, and the possibility to tag your recordings is also worth stating.

Though software licenses are reasonably priced, I should mention that the Free tier can be frustrating to work with. Recordings are limited to a maximum of 3 minutes, and while you can do without the Microphone Boost, Noise Reduction, and Task Scheduler features, I’m not a fan of the audio watermark that’s applied on output.

The Task Scheduler can be quite interesting for some workflows. In short, the program can automatically start recording your microphone at specific time intervals, according to your configuration.

Kingshiper Voice Recorder has its uses, but unless you’re looking to purchase a license for it, you might be better off looking elsewhere.
