Speedy MIDI

Creating music has greatly evolved from simply learning to play an instrument. This can either be done from an external keyboard connected to your PC or through the on-screen keyboard, but you also need to press “Space” so that notes can be placed.

Importing a file is easily done by dragging it over the main window or through the dedicated menu. In case you decide to create new tracks from scratch, the application comes equipped with a wizard that takes you through a series of steps to include name and an abundance of measure attributes.

You can add as many layers as you see fit and equip each one with a different instrument. Luckily, Windows has a staggering amount of MIDI instruments that can make it rather difficult to decide upon the proper one, but it also makes it possible to create unique tunes.

Adding a new track lets you attribute it a name, color scheme to use for notes representation, as well as several output options like volume, panorama or pitch. However, you can also adjust tempo, balance and volume at any given moment during the creation process.
