ThunderSoft Audio Recorder

If you want to record audio content for a video file or need to do a podcast, then you need a good audio recorder. Perhaps you only need your voice to be captured, or you have to record all sounds from your desktop. Or even both.

Whatever the scenario, ThunderSoft Audio Recorder is a very good tool to use in these cases. With an intuitive, easy-to-learn interface and well over a dozen formats to export to, this program can be your go-to sound capture software.

Unlike other programs of its type, this one is as straightforward as they come. You just have to open the application and press the big blue "Record" button from the middle, and it starts recording. You can then pause if you need to take a break or stop when you're done.

If you are not convinced you are ready to start recording, you can first use the test function. The program will capture sounds for 30 seconds and then play it back to you. In case it doesn't sound like you want it, you will find out straight away and be able to rectify without wasting precious time.

As mentioned in the beginning, the program can capture the sounds both from your PC or from the microphone. You will not need to use 2 separate recorders in order to capture both sources.

Also, if you need the result file to be of a specific type, you have 17 of them to choose from. Regardless of what you need it for, you are more than likely to find the right format for it.

Other nice options can be found in the settings. It has a voice activation system, you can add effects to it and even set a limit for how big your audio files should be.

I am honestly struggling to find a flaw with this program. It is not the most complex in the world, but its simplicity is what will draw you towards it.
