Sonigen Modular

Sonigen Modular is an audio synthesizer that comes as a plugin which enables you to generate countless sounds and shape them as you wish. As highlighted in its name, the plugin allows you use and combine multiple modules in order to create the sounds.

Sonigen Modular is designed to offer you something that comes very close to working with a synthesizer rack full of not analog, but digital modules. The rack experience doesn’t necessarily lie in the visual part of it all because Sonigen Modular displays a rather plain interface but as far as functionality goes, it hits the spot. You get to add a bunch of modules, stack them next to each other and connect them via cables as you would normally do with the real ones.

As far as results go, just from the default arrangement you can immediately start shaping some sounds with a few knob twists. The modifications you make to any of the settings or parameters are reflected in the output signal which allows you to perfectly fine-tune sound in real-time.

Presets have always been important for novice users and experts at the same time. In both cases they provide a solid base on top of which they are able to apply their own creative thinking. Sonigen Modular offers a huge range of presets that you can quickly browse and load with a simple click.

Customizing an existing preset doesn’t refer to only adjusting its parameters, no, you are free to insert additional oscillators, processors, modulators, controllers, mixers and effects as you see fit.
