If you have just started on the long and tenuous path to becoming a music producer, sooner or later you’ll need to pick a virtual synth to be your guide. And picking your first one isn’t very easy. While the two instruments share the same engine, they’re pretty much their own thing; SynthMaster is a beast that’s capable of creating almost any type of synthesis that you can think of, whereas SynthMaster One is a top-level wavetable synthesizer.

All of the plugin’s parameters fit perfectly into a single interface, which makes playing the synth a fluid and intuitive process. At its core are two oscillators, each with its sub-oscillator. The sound can be further modulated through two filters, two LFOs, four ADSR envelopes, and a complex sequencer/arpeggiator. It all looks good, but sounds even better.

SynthMaster One comes with a lot of presets which you can use to familiarize yourself with the synth’s workflow; most of them can serve as a good starting point to design original sounds. You should also take your time to explore its vast library of wavetables in order to understand this type of synthesis better. This is a versatile virtual synth that can help you create many styles of electronic music.
