Tunefish

The transition from analog equipment to the digital world when it comes to the audio field, has led to the emergence of numerous software solutions that offer synthesizer and mixer capabilities, which emulate the characteristics of their corresponding hardware and instruments. One such digital solution is Tunefish.

This VST plugin was designed specifically in order to offer users synthesizer capabilities bundled within a very small memory footprint, without compromising on the output signal quality levels. This version of Tunefish, unlike others, comes in a larger size, due to its design, interface, and the Juce framework for C++.

Developed as a smaller replacement of Tunefish version 3, this VST plugin has similar capabilities and was designed with downscaling in mind, in order to be able to achieve competent music production in very tight machine code.

Being deployed as both 32 and 64-bit installations, features an improved user interface compared to its previous version and relies on an additive synthesis-based wavetable generator. The included noise generator can yield frequencies that span any bandwidth and an array of filtering capabilities are provided, spanning to lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and notching.

Last but not least, the plugin supports flanger, chorus, distortion, delay, reverb, EQ, and format effects.
