AKoff MIDI Player

AKoff MIDI Player is a lightweight Windows application whose purpose is to help you play MID files.

You can copy the tool on pen drives to have it with you all the time. You can access the program’s features by simply running the executable file. There’s no setup included in the process.

You may run it without administrative privileges on the target computer. No settings files are left on the host system so you can uninstall it using a simple deletion task.

The GUI looks simple and easy to decode. MID files can be added in the working environment using the built-in browse button (the drag-and-drop support is not implemented).

AKoff MIDI Player gives you the possibility to play, pause or stop the audio selection, loop the current audio file, seek for a position in the audio streams, as well as show or hide the list with tracks.

What’s more, you are allowed to pick the instrument (e.g. trumpet, trombone, whistle, fiddle, drums) for each audio track from a drop-down list, adjust the volume, as well as set the balance.

Tests have shown that AKoff MIDI Player carries out a task quickly and without errors. It does not eat up a lot of CPU and memory resources so the overall performance of the computer is not affected. Plus, it offers very good output results.
