Play WAV audio files with Recursive Ambiophonic Crosstalk Elimination enhancement options for better sound quality with this lightweight app #Audio Player #Ambiophonic Player #WAV Player #Ambiophonic #Player #Binaural
When it comes to audio, it’s used in quite the variety of activities, ranging from simple sound alerts, to button interaction, songs, and various effects. Different formats help provide, or store quality a little better, and players, such as Ambiophonic Audio Player make sure you know what you’re using through clear playback.
Before you can enjoy what the application has to offer, you need to make sure that your PC is fitted with Java Runtime Environment, because it’s a required component which ensures functionality. On the other hand, the application comes in a lightweight package, and can be carried around on a thumb drive, requiring no installation.
On the visual side of things, there are different sliders to configure specific parameters, like attenuation, or center value in percentage, playback controls to play, pause, stop, or navigate through audio files, as well as a list where all files you load are shown.
The application is only capable of reading WAV files, and you need to use the built-in browse dialog to load one or more files. Recursive Ambiophonic Crosstalk Elimination is used in order to provide a better sense of real sounds, meaning emphasis is put on audio quality, rather than visuals, or playback options.
As mentioned above, several sliders, like center, and attenuation, allow you to tweak quality settings, with additional options for leveling sound volume, set to play between specific frequencies, and adjust delay.
Hotkeys aren’t implemented, so you need to use the main window to manage controls every time. The playlist can’t be saved either, and the application automatically discards all audio files on exit. What’s more, files you load need to be encoded with 16 bit, or at 44.1kHz, otherwise playback doesn’t start.
On an ending note, Ambiophonic Audio Player comes with good intentions, and wants to put emphasis on quality over everything else. Only WAV files of a specific type can be played, with no option to control playback through hotkeys. Playlists can’t be saved either, so you need to load files every time the application runs.
