Aqualung

Aqualung is an advanced music player compatible with many audio formats that loads tracks from your computer, CDs, the internet and even podcasts.

It can be used easily for creating playlists and adding effects to audio tracks. However, more neat tools can be found under the player's interface which also comes with some customization features.

The player doesn't take long to install and you won't need to complete a complicated setup before you can stream music. The interface is quite easy-to-use and it's resizable, simply drag it to the size that you would like it to be.

It comes with six additional skins that you can change, they can be applied without having to close the player. The color of songs in the playlist can be modified, you can also change the background color of the active song in the list.

Browse through directories on your computer and pick the songs that you would like to add in a playlist. It displays the file path in the playlist, together with details on the track and its duration.

Once you've managed to arrange all files, you can save them as a playlist on your device. There's the option to adjust audio balance, volume, shuffle tracks in the playlist or add more songs. The total track list and duration is displayed at the bottom.

You can have the player save and restore the current playlist on exit/startup, save playlists periodically, show RVA values, track lengths and add plugins with effects. It comes with an equalizer in the form of a plugin, it's packed with multiple bands that you can adjust and make sure the sound is exactly how you want it to be.

Connect the player to the internet and stream music directly from there and it has a feature for reading metadata inside the player. It's a lightweight and intuitive player compatible with many audio formats and with all the main features at hand but it could use nicer skins.
