It seems that some of the most popular applications and program on the Internet are music players. They come in a variety of shapes and forms, so there's plenty of options to choose from.

One of them is Christine. It's a simple and free software solution that allows you to play all sort of music files from your computer, but it could use some more tools.

The application installs quickly and it sports a really intuitive and straightforward graphical interface with lots of tools and features at hand.

It comes with some customization options, you can adjust the view inside the application, enable small view, side panel or full screen if you want. It also allows you to change the columns found inside the library.

You simply need to browse your computer and load the files that you would like to listen to. It supports multiple audio formats and it displays the file title, artist, album, type, length and even genre. You can organize your music files in the side library and use controls for playing your music, but it's missing stop and pause icons.

Still, it allows you to adjust the volume from inside the application and it comes with shuffle and repeat tools. It also comes with a visualization section and you can use a 10-band equalizer with some presets.

It comes with the option to import entire folders with your files or to jump to a certain audio file. It would have been nice if it had some additional themes that you could apply or if it played video files. It doesn't allow you to save playlists to your computer or export them to another application.

Christine is a small software solution for playing audio files on your computer but it definitely needs some more tools and features.
