Elmyu

Music streaming is pretty much the default way to listen to your favorite songs these days. Whether it is Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, or some other streaming service, people listen to their favorite tunes and find new ones through these platforms.

However, for the best experience, you'll have to regularly pay a bit of money for a subscription. Some such services offer Free tiers, too, but they're mostly filled with ads that take away from the experience, which is where Elmyu comes in. Elmyu can stream your favorite tracks through YouTube, all for free, and without any advertising to sully the experience.

Music players can come in a lot of different forms, so if you want something simple that does the job, you'll feel right at home here. The app keeps it simple with pretty much everything: the Playlists tab is where you can access your music library, while the Search menu affords you the ability to find the songs you want to listen to.

There isn't much else beyond that: search for your tracks, and add them to your playlists. Alternatively, you may listen to a track directly by clicking its name, no matter if it's in your library or not.

You can name your playlists, add songs to them, and shuffle everything. If you have any stylesheets at your disposal, you can enter its URL to change the aspect of the app's interface.

Though the app succeeds in keeping things simple, yet functional, you can't really fast-forward a song to your favorite section, and raising or lowering the volume is a bit uncomfortable in the current position. Still, considering that the app is still in early release, there's a lot of potential.

Aside from that, Elmyu is a simple, but sufficiently capable music streaming player. It works well to fetch your music from YouTube, and the playlist functionality is always nice to have  — especially when everything is free-of-charge and devoid of ads.
