MP3 AlbumBox Standard is a small software application developed specifically for helping you scan folders in order to detect audio files and generate playlists. The tool comes packed with an audio player which allows you to listen to songs and lets you create custom playlists. It can be installed on all Windows flavors out there.

The program does not make a very good impression in the visual department. MP3 AlbumBox Standard gives you the possibility to specify a folder that contains MP3 and WMA tracks. The application is able to automatically retrieve the audio files and generates album playlists using the songs from the selected directories.

What’s more, you are allowed to create user-defined playlists with custom names, view the total numbers of tracks included in each playlist, delete playlists, and listen to songs directly from the program’s interface.

MP3 AlbumBox Standard needs a GUI facelift in order to make the entire process more intuitive. It only comes packed with basic features so it needs further enhancements.
