Reverb is one of the most widely used audio effects in music production. The name explains itself, but it might be useful to add that reverb is used in plenty of different ways that don't necessarily involve making an instrument sound like its being played from inside a grotto (although that’s totally a valid option). In small amounts, reverb can make an instrumental or vocal track sound fuller and warmer. This why you should pay attention to how you use the effect.

Obviously, any DAW you work with will have a reverb among its many features, but if you want something more complex, then you should start looking for an external audio plugin. One such plugin is Toraverb2, a tool developed by D16 Group. From its photorealistic interface you can turn many knobs until you adjust the parameters just right and acheive the quality effect you were aiming for.

In the plugin’s main section you may control parameters such as size, bass cut, feedback, attenuation, diffusion, and modulation; they can be used for early and late reverb, both of which can be balanced from another nearby section.
