Just by turning a few knobs, you can easily adjust the repeat interval, duration, frequency, gain and variation for the sound (or silence) that you’ve chosen. Yes, you can actually make the beeps and noises sound different from one another so that they’re not too, you know, monotonous.

Since the plug-in doesn’t perform any processing on the audio material when it inserts the signal, you could say that Voxengo Beeper is a fast and reliable tool for protecting your material. Sure, it doesn’t really do much, but it’s free, lightweight and so simple that it can seem like fun.

After all, no one stops you from getting creative with it. It doesn’t gave a BPM counter, but with the help of a metronome, you could actually determine the tempo of the beats. If you ever get bored, you may try to integrate the beeps and noises into a composition rather than use them to cover parts of it.
