vstPlayer

vstPlayer is a simple to use generic VSTi audio plug-in player. The component allows users to load entire folders into a Virtual Studio Technology Host application.

The add-in can be very valuable to users that regularly employ VST hosts or DAW suites in order to process songs. One should note, however, that the resource does not work as a standalone program. Casual users that are either not familiar with VST programs, or don't want to install such tools will not draw much value from this module.

VstPlayer comes with a simple interface that does not rely on any menus or tabs in order facilitate navigation. This is performed exclusively with on-screen buttons. Give the fact that no configuration is necessary in order to run the plug-in, new users will find it very intuitive and easy to grasp.

One of the great things about this utility is that it can load multiple files with just one mouse click. This is achieved by using the “+path” button. A similar button, “+file” allows one to insert single files. If all the media files are stored in a common folder, the setup allows one to quickly load the entire music library with just one button!

Once source tracks have been loaded, the program allows users to play them. The standard player operators are available to users, including options for "next" or "previous track", as well as a volume controller.

Users can also view source documents' metadata, as well as toggle song looping. Song cue points can be created, and the program features numerous hotkeys that can streamline navigation (e.g. F10 jumps to a cue point).

All things considered, vstPlayer is an effective audio player that requires a VST host program in order to function.
