Rhyme

Rhyme is a straightforward application that offers above all, ease of use and aesthetic display. The music player is a comfortable instrument that does not have any specific extra requirements and offers a manageable menu, with very few commands.

Installing Rhyme can be done in seconds, and it can be done via its dedicated executable or the MSI file. At the same time, it is important to take into account that Rhyme is available for 64-bit system architectures only, and it is compatible with Windows OS, macOS, and Linux distributions.

Besides the ones previously mentioned, the app can also be downloaded in a PACMAN format, a file type that allows the installation of a program alongside all of its dependencies in one round.

Rhyme's beautifully styled interface and well-structured menu result from the use of multiple technologies like Svelte, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You can switch between the light and dark interface, and install community custom-made skins.

When opening the application for the first time, you must go to the 'Settings' window and select the music source folder. After selecting the directory where you keep your albums and music tracks, you have to restart Rhyme to make the songs visible in the app's library center (the program has to be closed from both the main window and from the system tray, as the latter, keeps the app active in the background).

Regarding the supported file formats, in Rhyme, you can upload MP3, OPUS, OGG, WAV, M4A, and WEBM.

To summarize, this music player is awesome and looks super modern. However, still in its early stages, some of the app's features like playlist creation are still in development. Regardless of that, the app is an excellent and free music player that can smoothly run in the background.
