ASF Buffer Fix

People who use the editing capabilities of the Windows Media Encoder, could find themselves encountering various errors when running ASF / WMV format files through its sequence. This kind of errors occur when trying to fix files for which the seek feature doesn’t work or when trying to remove extra streams.

Some of these errors could be accompanied by the following message: “The video buffer setting is not valid.”. ASF Buffer Fix is an application that was developed in order to help users solve such problems and it will provide a quick fix for the ASF / WMV files which emphasize such issues.

In order to overcome the occurring errors and resolve their underlying causes, the application will change some of the values contained in the headers of the video files. All this process is carried out in-place, quickly and without writing new copies of the fixed files.

Deployed as a ZIP archive, the application will be accessible from its corresponding folder, without the need for an installation process. In order to use its features, users will need to drag-and-drop their video files on its interface and then the repair process will be initiated immediately.

Upon completion of the process, they will be greeted with a confirmation message. This message will contain a summary of the patching process, where the repaired items will be listed.
