Change the audio volume, muted/unmuted status and balance of any application on your system, even if they are not currently running, with this intuitive utility #Audio Volume #Change Volume #Application Volume #Volume #Balance #Audio
If you’re running Windows Vista or a newer version of the OS, you can set the audio volume of every application separately, and these configurations will be remembered when you launch the program again. However, you can only modify the sound settings while the process is active.
AppAudioConfig is a small utility that lists every application that is registered as capable of generating sound and lets you alter their volume settings at any time. It is very easy to use, and it also does not require installation.
Whenever you run an application, Windows stores its volume and audio balance settings in the Registry, where they can be accessed whenever you launch the program again.
This utility grabs your volume configurations from the Registry and lists the information in a clear, intuitive manner. You can then perform modifications even when the processes are not active, all from a user-friendly UI.
All registered processes are displayed in a list, and you can mute or unmute them instantly, as well as modify the volume for one or both of the audio channels. Most operations can be performed with hotkeys, which can speed things up.
AppAudioConfig also comes equipped with a simple search function, which can certainly come in handy when looking for a specific process. To browse the list more easily, you can enable grid lines or mark odd and even rows.
If you’re looking for a tool that lets you manage the volume of every installed application, whether or not they are currently running, AppAudioConfig is just what you need. It enables you to modify both the audio level and balance of all sound-generating programs that have been launched on your PC, all from a minimalistic, intuitive user interface.
