BehringerXTouchExtender

BehringerXTouchExtender is a MIDI controller client for the DAW with the same name. If you are conducting studio work on the X-Touch Extender, this interface can make things easier to handle.

The X-Touch DAW has to be instructed to use absolute or relative MIDI control mode - an action that must be done manually. Even if the DAW can work with the HUI or MC modes, this library cannot, leaving MIDI mode as the only available avenue.

Setting the MIDI mode is not a chore, but one must follow the steps in the right order. Turn on the Extender using the left-side Select button. Follow up by rotating the leftmost encoder know until the LCD displays "Ctrl", which is the absolute form of the mode. Rotate again for "CtrlRel" to swhich to relative. Press the left side Select button again to finish up.

Dealing with the configuration process once should be enough, as the X-Touch Extender should keep the MIDI mode until the user decides to change it, even if the device is unplugged from the power source.
