Practical tool that lets you manage your Last.fm scrobbling, enabling you to manually scrobble any tracks you wish, while also expanding upon the synchronization of your listening history #Last.fm Scrobbler #Last.fm Scrobble Tool #Last.fm Music #Last.fm #Scrobble #Track
Last.fm is a place that is particularly popular with music enthusiasts — or just people who are particularly interested in tracking their listening history. The community aspect is also important, but Last.fm is chiefly known for scrobbling: the logging of one’s listening activity.
Most mainstream music services should offer built-in Last.fm integration, but in the event yours doesn’t, or you’re more of a local music library kind of person, then Last.fm Scrubbler WPF is a tool that you’ll want to try. It offers the necessary features to scrobble songs in a variety of ways and does so in an intuitive manner.
Some users are more particular about their Last.fm scrobbles than others, which is where the value lies with this tool. In short, you’ll be able to manually scrobble any tracks you want and synchronize them with your profile, so that they appear on your listening history. The process is simple enough and I encountered no glitches or anything of the sort.
While Manual Scrobbler can work decently, I’d say it’s best to first look around through the Database Scrobbler menu to find the tunes you wish to log. This way you won’t have to introduce everything manually, though some songs can be more elusive to find.
If you’re in a rut, then the Friend Scrobbler tab can be quite helpful. Enter the username of any profile, and the tool will return their latest scrobbles, which you can mirror to your account as you see fit.
Scrobble tools for ITunes and Setlist.fm are also available. Alternatively, Media Player Database Scrobbler will synchronize your listening history with Winamp and Windows Media Player — just make sure your music metadata is correct.
Some extra functions are also present. You can type in your username and the tool will return your favorite artists. It can also download your scrobbles and export them as a .CSV file if you’re into that.
Another important feature is the Collage Creator: most of us should already be acquainted with them by now. The program can generate a collage based on your most listened artists and albums across various timespans.
Last.fm Scrubbler WPF clearly shows a lot of value that can be tapped into by someone particularly interested in getting the most out of Last.fm.
