Have audio files from one or more M3U playlists synchronized to your portable audio player in a simple, efficient process #Synchronize playlist #M3u sync #Mp3 playlist #M3u #Synchronize #Synchronizer
In case you’re on the move quite frequently, chances are you create an audio thumb drive to keep you company on the road. Although it’s not quite a complex task to add new songs on the target drive, there are more efficient ways of updating your playlist. For instance, M3USync lets you copy files from a playlist to a thumb drive with little effort.
Before you can even go through the setup process, you might want to ensure that your computer is fitted with .NET Framework, because it’s a mandatory requirement for functionality. As far as the visual design is concerned, features are stored in a pretty intuitive design, with a list showing playlists you add, as well as necessary controls to put the operation in motion.
What the application wants to do is help you copy all files inside a playlist to a removable storage device with little effort. Most effort on your behalf narrows down to adding one or more playlists of interest, and these need to be under the M3U format. On the bright side, you can add more playlists at a time.
It’s a good idea to plug in the removable drive before running the application, although the browse dialog is sure to detect it even afterwards. Note, however, that Apple products can’t be targeted, so you need to narrow down your interest to either regular USB flash drives, or other types of portable MP3 players.
Unfortunately, the application doesn’t display items inside the playlist, but it does show the number of files, and the total size you need on the target disk. Before initiating the process, there’s the possibility to choose the way subdirectories are created according to file tags.
All things considered, we can state that M3USync is a reliable application which saves you a great deal of time when it comes to updating songs on your portable player. You can target almost any kind of flash drive, while the sync operation leaves existing files intact.
