RadioSlick

If you'd like to listen to new music or even old for the matter, to listen to different radio station around the globe, to listen to game comments of your favorite sports, then RadioSlick is the right app for you.

After you launch the app, you can see that every category has a title and a thumbnail. There are no practical settings or tweaking options, the only functions observed were the search field, and a "Remember" preference, used for opening the last material visited.

RadioSlick offers access to radio stations from all around the globe. It uses a title and a small description for every channel available. When clicking on a station, a small delay may occur, as the app has to connect to a server in order to be able to play. However, while the app was tested it was noticed that not all connections are successful which means that not all stations are playable.

When a song is played, the only button available is the play/pause button. There are no other multimedia functions or extra buttons to work with. Skipping ahead on a song isn't a possibility, but remember that this is not a player, it's a complex radio station actually.

If you are using Windows 8  pin any station you want on the start screen and launch it directly from there at any time.

RadioSlick is a simple and intuitive application that allows you to browse through an archive that contains music from different periods, worldwide radio stations, religious material, educational content, comedy shows, sports radio an others. Anybody can easily use it as there is no installation process included and it mainly operates by one-click actions.
