Rhythm Chaser

Rhythm Chaser is a neat application that aims to entertain anybody who knows in learning how to read music. All you need to have to fully enjoy this app is a good amount of free time and a keyboard.

The interface gives the impression that the tool was intended for children, but if you look at the options, and the values row on the right, you'll quickly figure out that's not the case.

Before you start reading music, you should first take a look at the Options menu. From there you can set the difficulty or complexity levels. For example, if you've just made contact with the music world, maybe the basic levels would be a good place to start from. On the flip side, for users already accustomed to the secrets if music, there are six advanced levels available for choosing.

Also, from the same options menu, you can select the input method. You can either go with the computer's keyboard, if you know what you are doing — or connect a midi keyboard, which is actually a better solution.

After you are done with the settings, you can start the reading process. Right after you press Start, some notes and beats are going to be played. With the help of the keyboard, you'll just have to recreate the given rhythms.
