Scope displays a small oscilloscope applet, showing the waveform of the current audio source.
Scope will sample the audio source(s) selected in the Windows mixer. To change the sources, open the Mixer applet (located in the system tray, next to the clock) and select Options | Properties | Recording.
Any device indicated as Selected will be sampled by Scope. This can be CD Audio, Microphone, Line-In or any other input device your soundcard supports.
The Scope window cannot be resized, but right-clicking the applet window will bring up a menu that allows you to Hide the Scope window. When this option is selected, Scope will run in the system tray (next to the clock).
Preferences allows the setting of the sampling rate (in milliseconds). This produces a far better waveform in the applet window, but degrades performance.
What's new in Scope 1.3:
- Fixed a minor bug where Scope would not appear correctly when running in the System Tray on Windows NT and Windows 2000.
- Compiled using Visual Basic 6 (requires new runtime)
