TextSpeech Pro

TextSpeech Pro is a small, beautifully designed software application that allows text files to be converted into speech. The installation takes only a few moments and has simple-to-follow steps, but also requires third party software.

The area for custom content is organized in tabs, where custom texts can be pasted in, and later read by the program. To hear your text, you have to press the play/speak icon. Basic controls to play, pause and stop the reading voice are implemented.

TextSpeech Pro can export the resulting audio file with different quality settings, and even be converted to MP3 format if waiting time is not a problem. The app comes with three available Microsoft voices (British, American, Indian) with custom speed, volume and pitch, along with the option to highlight words.

Whenever unsure, you can use the built-in "Spell Check" and get correct written documents. With the web browser tab you can open the system browser that has the program's toolbar installed.

Moreover, the e-mail reader function will start up your default mail client, and can be useful when you don't understand a part of an e-mail, and would like it to be read out loud.

Batch Converter is another feature that can export multiple documents to a selected output folder using the specified system voice.

Text can be extracted from an image using this fast OCR function that captures text from TIFF images. If you need the content to be printed, you can use the "Print" icon which sends the document to the default system printer.

The inserted text can be read using your mouse cursor, all you need to do is place the cursor at the beginning of the text and select the "Speak from Cursor" option. Selection speech properties can be defined after a text selection is made, and additional speech elements can be defined from the same menu area.

After selecting the required text, it can be bookmarked and will show up in the top right "Bookmark Manager" area.
