Transpose chords and tabulators to different keys #Transpose Chords #Transpose Tabulators #Colorize Chords #Transpose #Chord #Tabulator
The Transpan application was designed to transpose chords and tabulators to different keys. By transposing a song to a different key it could fit your voice better, or getting easier to play.
Before you transpose a song you must colorize chords and tablatures. To colorize, open the menu Transpose and click on Colorize (F5). After this, the chords will be blue and the tablatures red.
You could remove the color by selecting the text, open the menu Transpose and select Decolorize (Shift+F5).
If chords are written in [brackets] you can use this to improve the coloring. Usually this is not necessary, but if you find many words that have been colored by mistake this can help: Open the Transpose menu and select Chord in [brackets].
The final step is to do the actual transposing. Open the Transpose menu and select Transpose (F7). Now a window pop ups and you can change some settings before the transposing is done.
