XCarLink MP3 Manager helps users manage USB/SD media with XcarLink devices installed in your car.

Built as an application for devices meant for playing music and data in your car's dashboard computer, XCarLink MP3 Manager has a simple and visually intuitive interface which helps users easily identify playlists.

Separated in multiple 'CD' panels, the program allows users to easily identify each window that consists of some of his/her favorite songs. To import playlists they must come in XcarLink compatible XML files or the more common M3U format. Drag-and-drop actions also work for individual songs.

Given the simple nature of the tool’s set of functionalities, it's only natural to see it work in a simple GUI format for a small car dashboard screen. This way, it's not really unexpected to have only a small set of parameters that mainly involve transferring songs and playlists to SD cards, that can be plugged into your XcarLink hardware device later on.

Nevertheless, users can force XCarLink MP3 Manager to open recent playlists and songs, while also run a check for duplicate media files. Users can change the number of 'CDs,' read playlists, set the number of supported tracks per CD, and choose the default MP3 folder on their hard drive. The default target on their SSD can also be set so they won't have to manually look for it when they sync their data with the XcarLink device.

However, there are many issues with this software utility. XCarLink MP3 Manager has a nasty habit of crashing when users plan to make major changes related to the tool's GUI.

XCarLink MP3 Manager is a great application for many XcarLink devices owners that want to synchronize their desktop music database. All they have to do is import their iTunes XML or Winamp M3U playlist formats in the manager, and then sort them out in whatever CDs they want to organize their songs.
