Music concerts, regardless of their type, can feature some sort of lyrics prompter for the vocalists, as well as details for the involved instruments. Having a dedicated depiction of the lyrics, overlaid on the audio track’s timeline can greatly help with voice sync across the range of the instruments, and keeping a neat performance. This, and much more, is addressed by specialized tools such as audioCue.

This application was designed specifically in order to offer users the means to elevate their performance and musical practice by fine-tuning their vocal and instrument process, through a dedicated lyrics prompter, which offers a step-by-step, sequential process.

The main working principle behind the app relies on establishing dedicated directories as sources for the input audio files, which need to contain the audio tracks, together with their corresponding text files for the lyrics. Users will be able to manage multiple directories at once, as well as playlists.

Search functions are provided and having added the preferred audio tracks and their lyrics, the app will automatically integrate them into the track list editor, from where the tweaking process can begin. To that end, users can adjust the appearance of the lyrics, as well as the audio volume, and calibrate other parameters.
